Irrfan Khan's Madaari to hit theatres in China: Jimmy Sheirgill reacts

Bollywood movies releasing in different countries have become a common thing in the last few years. There are many movies including Dangal, Secret Superstar, PK, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, among others. While Dangal and Secret Superstar were huge hits, the other movies have performed moderately well at the Chinese box office. Currently, Madaari is gearing up to be released in China. Madaari released in India in the year 2016. The film has Irrfan Khan in the lead role and Jimmy Sheirgill in a pivotal role. It was directed by Nishikant Kamat.

In a recent interview, Jimmy Shergill expressed his happiness about the movie's release in China. He said it is an important film for him as the concept of the movie is universal. He expressed his gratitude towards the director for casting him in such a great movie. He informed that Madaari highlights the weak nodes of society. He added that it is great that the Chinese theatres are showing interest in Bollywood movies. The release date of the movie in China is yet to be announced.

Madaari

Madaari is an adventurous drama-thriller directed by Nishikant Kamat, starring Irrfan Khan along with Jimmy Sheirgill, Vishesh Bansal, Tushar Dalvi, and Nitish Pandey. The movie deals with the story about a man named Nirmal who loses his son in a man-made disaster and chooses to take revenge. He kidnaps the son of a higher authority and instead of asking for money, he wants them to find his son. The appointed police officer finds that his seven-year-old kid got killed when a flyover bridge collapsed. The man, Nirmal, demands that all the people, who were involved in the activity, should be punished. The film takes an interesting turn towards the end.
