'Many had laughed', but Ishkaran has last laugh as SC allows CBI probe in Sushant case

In a massive judgment prounced on Wednesday, Supreme Court directed CBI to investigate death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and ordered Mumbai police to cooperate. vocate Ishkaran Bhandari who promised a CBI investigation into case and led a virtual protest on Twitter seeking justice for Sushant said that his and Sushant's fans' promise was delivered today. Taking to Twitter, Bhandari said that journey in achieving CBI for late actor was difficult but united efforts of fans and supporters me it possible.
Appearing on Republic shortly after, Ishkaran also commended Kangana Ranaut for her cour in speaking on Sushant's behalf.

Supreme Court allows CBI probe
In a breaking development amid global and relentless #CBIForSSR campaign, Supreme Court on Wednesday has prounced verdict giving d for investigation to be conducted by CBI. Maharashtra Government's option to challenge order prounced by Supreme Court has been turned down. Supreme Court has directed Maharashtra government to cooperate with CBI during investigation.

Former ASG Maninder Singh, appearing for Bihar government, h submitted that Bihar CM h t interfered in case and ded that recommendation for a CBI probe was based on vice of concerned authorities. "In Maharashtra, re may be political pressure but t in Bihar. What are we hiding in this case? Maharashtra Police have t cooperated with Bihar Police in this case," Maninder Singh h told apex court.

CBI is likely to arrive in Mumbai to begin its probe, whereas ED has alrey summoned prime accused Rhea Chakraborty twice.
