In a conversation with iDiva, Sonakshi said that she finds it "very funny" when people ask her about wedding plans more than her parents. “Firstly, it’s nobody’s business. Secondly, it is my choice, so I don’t know why people are so concerned about it. People ask me about my marriage more than my parents, so I find that very funny. Now, I am just used to it. It doesn’t bother me. People are curious; what can we do about it?" she added.

Sonakshi and Zaheer have been rumoured to be dating for years now, but they always maintained the 'Just Friends' title in front of the media.

According to a report in IANS, Sonakshi and Zaheer will get married at a venue, Bastian - At The Top, in the Dadar area of Mumbai. The wedding invitation is said to be designed like a magazine cover with the text "rumours are true." Reports also claim that close family and friends, including the star cast of Heeramandi, have been invited to the ceremony.

If reports are to be believed then their pre-wedding festivities will kick off on June 19 with a sangeet ceremony in Mumbai. It will be a close-knit affair with only family and close friends in attendance.

Meanwhile, the rumoured couple have also worked together in the movie Double XL, which was released in 2022 and co-starred Huma Qureshi.
