It's Official: After 'Zero', Shah Rukh Khan To Star In Film Based On This Man Who Made History
The producer of 'Saare Jahaan Se Achcha', Ronnie Screwvala, has finally confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan will play the lead in the film.

After months of speculation, it has finally been revealed that Shah Rukh Khan will star in film ‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha.’ One of producers of projects, Ronnie Screwvala confirmed news to a news portal. Apart from confirming fact that Shah Rukh Khan will play lead, he said that script has been with his banner for a long time w, and that movie will go on floors early 2019. producer concluded by saying that y will officially anunce film soon.

‘Saare Jahaan Se Achcha’ is story of astronaut Rakesh Sharma, who is first Indian to enter . Earlier, Aamir Khan was set to star in movie, but he opted out of it later. When ‘Rang De Basanti’ star was set to do film, Priyanka Chopra was to be cast opposite him. latter had confirmed that she was in talks with makers for film, but she wasn’t aware of status of film after Aamir’s exit.
Since SRK has been linked to project, names of Kareena Kapoor Khan, Rani Mukerji and Bhumi Pednekar, have done rounds regarding lead actress. Apparently, since role of female character, said to be Rakesh Sharma’s wife, is t meaty eugh, some names have been apprehensive about signing on dotted line. movie is also produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and will be helmed by Mahesh Mathai.
