Imtiaz Ali's Jab We Met has completed 12 years since its release. In spite of having completed so many years in Bollywood, the movie will always be evergreen. The fans of the movie evidently fell in love with Kareena Kapoor's character as Geet in the movie. The story follows a beautiful journey of Geet and Aditya. Geet, a chirpy optimistic girl from Bhatinda who meets Aditya, a sophisticated businessman while travelling on a train. The movie was very famous for its iconic scenes that were loved by critics and audiences alike.

The best scenes from Jab We Met that are still very popular

1. "Akeli Ladki khuli hui tijori ke jaisi hoti hai"

When Kareena misses the train and the station master begins to give her a lecture on how it is risky for a girl to be alone. This scene has a quirky take on how society starts lecturing a girl when she is alone instead of helping her. 

2. " Ab toh mera haath chhod do … itni bhi sundar nahin hoon main"

When the person in the train gives his hand to help Geet inside, she says this when the person still does not let go off her hand. 

 3. "Socho aisa kaam karne ka mauka phir na mile. Tumne bachpana try kiya hai na? Ab pagalpan try karo, bohot mazaa ayega!"

This is the scene where Geet teaches Aditya how to be spontaneous and enjoy life. The "bachpana" she refers to is when he burns and flushes off his ex-girlfriend's photo at Geet's insistence.

4. "Bachpan se hi naa … mujhe shaadi karne ka bahut craze hai, by god"

The scene is at the beginning of the movie where Geet meets Aditya and starts talking to him but he shows no interest. Geet does not care but still continues to talk. This scene introduces Geet as the talkative woman she is.

5. "Aage kya hone wala hai, is pe kisika koi haq toh hai nahi. Toh aise mein wohi karti hoon jo mera dil keheta ha. Kal ko main kisiko blame nahi karna chahati"

This scene was a serious point when Geet shows how she does not care about what the future has planned for her. This scene is poignantly placed at the point when she shares her plan of eloping with the love of her life.
