When Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter shared their views on 'Zingaat's' making

Released in year 2018, Dhak is a romantic movie directed by Shashank Khaitan. film was jointly bankrolled under banners of Zee Studios and Dharma Productions.  film is official remake of blockbuster Marathi movie Sairat which was directed by Nagraj Manjule. movie features Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor in prominent roles. plot of film is set in Rajasthan, and this love story explores how le actors deal with issues like caste differences and hour killings. In a throwback interview, actors h talked about making of famous Zingaat song. Here's taking a look at Ishaan and Janhvi's views on  Zingaat song from ir film Dhak.

Ishaan and Janhvi Share  Story Behind Zingaat

After treating fans to Dhak's title track, makers of film later released second song titled Zingaat. Composed by Ajay- Atul, this track was a recreated version of famous Marathi dance number from Sairat by same name. Written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, peppy track showed protagonists dancing ir heart out.

While dressing media during Zingaat song launch event, Ishaan and Janhvi h shared story behind choreography of Zingaat. Ishaan h said that he was a massive fan of original version of song. idea behind this song was that y would t practice much for it except hook steps. Both Janhvi and Ishaan were asked to dance freely to capture true essence of this peppy song.

Ishaan h furr ded that Zingaat was a significant song for ir film Dhak. He was happy and excited that he got chance to perform on this track. He h said that he loved what Amitabh Bhattacharya h done with fantastic lyrics.

When asked if recreating song was intimidating, Janhvi Kapoor h stated that re was pressure. whole team wanted to make a good song, something which was true to ir film. But for this, y hn't taken any stress. She h furr ded that y both were trying to play ir respective characters and were trying to make director happy and listening to choreographer Farah Khan's instructions.

Sharing her views about audience's response to song 'Zingaat', Janhvi Kapoor h said that she felt happy and blessed that y h received a positive response for song. She h said that most people were attached to original Marathi 'Zingaat' song. But this song was essential in terms of story-line and characters of film.
