Janhvi Kapoor's 'Dostana 2' shoot cancelled in Delhi due to pollution
Janhvi Kapoor's Dostana 2 shoot has been cancelled due to the rise of pollution levels in Delhi. Many members of the crew complained of breathing issues too.

Janhvi Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan's much-anticipated film Dostana 2 has been making rounds on social media ever since its announcement. However, the film seems to have hit a minor roadblock once they switched their location from Chandigarh to New Delhi. A report in a leading news publication states that the pollution level was the main reason the shoot was cancelled. A source was quoted saying that the crew was unable to shoot due to low visibility and that some of them were also facing breathing issues.

Kartik Aaryan, Jhanvi Kapoor and Lakshya Lalwani starrer, Dostana 2, recently began its shooting at Chandigarh. Kartik Aaryan opted his Instagram to share this news with the fans and audiences. The movie is reported to be the sequel to the 2008 hit movie, Dostana. The Dharma Production movie is being directed by Collin D'Cunha. Also, it is Collin’s directorial debut.

Dostana 2 will also see the debut of Fateh Randhawa, the grandson of Dara Singh and son of Vindu Dara Singh. According to several media reports, the debutant will play an important character in Dostana 2, to be directed by Collin D'Cunha. The movie, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan in the lead, also has debutant Lakshya Lalwani, playing an important role.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra too who is currently shooting in Delhi had uploaded a masked selfie of hers. She captioned the post, “Shoot days for #thewhitetiger. It’s so hard to shoot here right now that I can’t even imagine what it must be like to live here under these conditions. We r blessed with air purifiers and masks. Pray for the homeless. Be safe everyone,” while also using hashtags like ‘air pollution' 'Delhi pollution’ ‘we need solutions and ‘right to breathe'.
