Jannat Zubair: Here's more about the actor and TikTok sensation

Jannat Zubair Rahmani is a child actor in the TV industry and also known a singer. She gained popularity when she was in the star cast of a TV serial Phulwa. Today, Jannat has been known more for her TikTok videos. This TikTok sensation has been ruling the internet with her funny and quirky videos. Reportedly, she is going to be a part of a music video soon.

Early Life

Jannat Zubair is born on August 29, 2002. The 17-year old was born and brought up in Mumbai, India. Her primary schooling happened in Oxford Public School in Kandivali, Mumbai. She is the daughter of Indian actor Zubair Ahmad Rehmani and Nazneen Rahmani.

Debut and Achievements 

Jannat Zubair Rahmani started her career from Dil Mil Gaye in 2010 with a small role. She is very close to her father. To her, he is a big inspiration for becoming her an artist. In her acting career, she has achieved the award of Indian Telly Awards in Best Child Actor and 4^th Boroplus Gold Awards in the Best Child Artist category for Phulwa in 2011. Jannat Zubair's sibling Ayaan Zubair Rahmani is also a child artist and debuted with TV serial Jodha Akbar.

In 2018, Jannat received a Gold Award for Best Debut of the Year for the TV serial Tu Ashiqui. On November 26, 2018, she launched her app Jannat Zubair Rehmani Official through which she connects with her fans in a more personalised way. In 2019, Jannat became India’s No 1 TikTok Popular Creator after reaching to a count of 10 million followers on TikTok. Later, she released a song titled TikTok Queen featuring artists like Brown Gal and Virus. She has also acted in few Bollywood Hindi movies such as Luv Ka The End, What Will People Say and Hichki.

Controversy

In 2018, a controversy happened on the set of the TV serial Tu Ashiqui, where Jannat Zubair was asked to do some intimate scenes with the lead actor of the serial. However, she denied doing them as she was not comfortable. Her parents also supported her decision. The makers started finding a replacement for Jannat in the serial but the issue was resolved later. Jannat’s fans are waiting for her new music video release with another TikTok star called Faisu.
