Durga Puja 2024: The spirit of the festival is high across the nation with devotees celebrating the nine forms of Goddess Durga. As a part of the tradition, devotees visit pandals and offer prayers to the deity stationed at various public places. Actresses Kajol and Jaya Bachchan partook in the custom and sought blessings at a pandal together. However, the absence of Aishwarya Rai caught the attention of social media users.

Jaya Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai are rumoured to be feuding for days now. Despite having no confirmation for the same, social media users have been speculating that Aishwarya and Abhishek are going through a rough patch in their marriage due to a riff in the Bachchan family. Their solo appearances in public and social media activity have also fuelled the rumours.

Amid this, on October 10, Jaya Bachchan and Kajol visited a Durga Puja pandal. The actresses could be seen exchanging pleasantries and posing for the camera together. While they had their picture-perfect moment, social media users enquired about Aishwarya Rai. A user wrote in the comment section, “Where is Aishwarya?”. While another mentioned, “Bahu ko chor diya?”

With Navratri and Durga Puja, the festive spirit is currently at an all-time high in India. Like others, celebrities from B-town are also making sure to indulge in the festivities with great fervour and enthusiasm. On Wednesday evening, cousins and actresses Rani Mukerji and Kajol were spotted seeking blessings at the Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai. They both were dressed in traditional attire.
 

While Kajol opted for an orange saree, Rani made heads turn in a printed blue saree. They were all smiles as they posed together for shutterbugs at the pandal. Kajol also posed for pictures with her sister Tanishaa.
