Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon eat no solid for 16 hours a day

Jennifer Aniston's The Morning Show will soon be on Netflix. While discussing the show with a magazine, Jennifer and Reese spoke on intermittent fasting.

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are both great actors who are well-loved all over the globe. The two influential actors who also work in The Morning Show were recently interviewed by a UK Magazine where they spoke about their diet. Both Jennifer and Reese believe in intermittent fasting which is a form of diet where you procedurally increase the window of time where you eat no food. Due to this fasting technique, Jennifer and Reese claim that they eat no food for around 16 hours a day.

What is Intermittent fasting?

Intermittent fasting is a form of dietary planning where you voluntarily fast for a set period. Some form of intermittent fasting allows for the consumption of low calory fluids, though that is based on personal preference. According to scientific research, this form of fasting is believed to help reduce the chances of heart disease and also reduce blood pressure. However, the science behind this technique is still undetermined. Many professionals consider it to work but also state that it is not effective for everyone.

Jennifer and Reese on fasting

In an interview with an international magazine, the actors said that they fast for 16 hours each day and only eat solid food during an eight-hour time frame. Jennifer said that she felt a huge difference after not eating solid food for 16 hours and also said that she did not eat any solid food for breakfast. However, she does drink juices and coffee during the fasting period. 

Jennifer Aniston stated in the interview that she is a night owl and that she usually woke up around 8:30 am or 9 am. She also said that she did not drink coffee immediately after waking up and that she would meditate and feed her dog before she drank coffee. However, she does drink some juice before starting her day.

Reese Witherspoon, unlike Jennifer, wakes up much earlier in the morning, around 6 am. That is thanks to her seven-year-old son who she needs to wake up for. Reese does not enjoy exercising and usually only does so after 7:30 am. She also drinks some juice and coffee in the morning.
