Amitabh Bachchan is back to his work after being hospitalised for a regular check-up. Apart from his reality show, the actor is busy completing the shooting schedule of his back to back projects. The Sarkar actor has various projects in his kitty including films like Gulabo Sitaabo and Aankhen 2 among others.

One of his most awaited project Jhund, which was announced in February this year has been completed and currently in the post-production stage. The biographical-drama was reportedly slated to release on September 20, 2019. The new release date for Jhund is not yet officially announced by the makers or the Sholay actor. Apart from its release date, here are the other details of the film.
Details of Jhund
Reportedly, the film is based on the life of Vijay Barse, a retired sports teacher and founder of an NGO called Slum Soccer. The narration of the film will follow the story of how he managed to rehabilitate street kids by keeping them off drugs and crime by turning them into soccer players and building a team. The film will mark the directorial debut of the Marathi film Sairat's director Nagraj Manjule.
The Nagraj Manjule directorial has been bankrolled by T-Series and Aatpat along with Taandav Films. The film also features Sairat fame actors Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar in pivotal role among others. The look of Big B for Jhund is already shared by the producer Bhushan Kumar.
Amitabh Bachchan is gearing up for Ayan Mukherjee's upcoming trilogy film Brahmastra featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The release date of the film is yet to be announced officially. Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in a Telugu period-drama Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy.
