Jigra is Alia's worst openers at the box office
According to a report in Box Office India, Jigra is the second lowest opener for Alia Bhatt since her debut in 2012 with Student Of The Year. Although the Imtiaz Ali directorial earned critical acclaim and went to gross a little less than ₹30 crore at the domestic box office.

Despite a good track record at the box office, Jigra has failed to match up to the expectations that audiences have from her movies.
Jigra dismal collection in Telugu states
