Jim Sarbh Recalls Felling 'Angry And Hurt' As A Newcomer In The Industry
Jim Sarbh has recalled the time he was starting new in the industry. The actor detailed feeling 'angry and disappointed' in his initial years.

Recalling his early days in the industry, Jim Sarbh revealed how he once faced mistreatment as a young actor. In a candid interview with The Streaming Show, the Made In Heaven fame shared that he would initially respond to such incidents with anger, hurt, and disappointment, often lashing out in retaliation. However, through experience and maturity, he has since learned that the most effective way to handle such situations is to remain calm and composed, choosing to rise above them instead.
Jim Sarbh recalls his initial years in the industry
When questioned about the advice he would offer to young actors, Jim Sarbh reflected on his own experiences, stating: “Don’t get angry. I was young, I was pretty hot-headed. I got angry. I couldn’t understand how people could be like this. I just couldn’t understand it. I came from some amount of working in the States, and then from a we’re-all-equal theatre space… I just couldn’t… I just could not believe it. It made me very angry. Angry and upset and hurt and disappointed… I just lie more. No one gives a s***t. No one cares about your truth.”

Furthermore, Neerja actor recounted an incident and said, “If I had to go back, I’d tell myself to handle things differently. Instead of expressing anger, just lie. Scream into a pillow if needed, then come out and say, ‘I love that you can't afford a car to take us home, even though you’re not paying us at all, and the main actor arrived in a fancy car… I love that! I’m going to take the train!’ Lie often. Share your pain with close friends because no one else cares.”
