John Abraham's Satyameva Jayate 2: Divya Khosla Kumar makes comeback
The team of 'Satyameva Jayate' launched the second installment of the 2018 hit action drama that will star John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar in the lead.

‘Dostana 2’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ have already booked 2020 releases, and now it’s the time to add ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’. The makers of the 2018 action drama starring John Abraham are back, and are set to hit the theatres again on a day of national importance, Gandhi Jayanti, two years later. The interesting bit is that Divya Khosla Kumar will mark her return to acting, after her stint with direction.

‘Satyameva Jayate 2’ team unveiled the first poster, in which the movie’s title in written in Hindi, while the the India map is created between the smoke. Apart from John Abraham, Divya Khosla Kumar’s name also finds a mention in it on the poster. The release date is written in tricoulour.

Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, one of the producers, took to Twitter to share a photograph of the entire team, leads John and Divya, director Milap Zaveri, producers Nikkhil Advani and Monisha Advani in a light-hearted moment. He captioned the post, “Elated to announce the second installment of our blockbuster action drama! #SatyamevaJayate2 to release in cinemas on 2nd October 2020.”

Divya is back
Divya Khosla Kumar, who is also Bhushan Kumar’s wife, had made her debut opposite Akshay Kumar in ‘Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo' in 2004.

Later, she directed ‘Yaariyaan’ starring Himansh Kohli and Rakul Preet Singh, which was a success at the box office in 2014. Divya then directed ‘Sanam Re’, starring Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela in 2016.
Satyameva Jayate
'Satyameva Jayate’ was a success at the box office, earning over Rs 90 crore at the box office in India. Despite the movie’s clash with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gold’ on Independence Day, it managed to mint the moolah.
John had played the role of a violent vigilante and the movie also starred Manoj Bajpayee in the role of a police officer. It is not clear yet if Manoj will be a part of the sequel.
It will also be interesting to see how John’s character will shape up considering what happens in the climax of the movie.
Meanwhile, Nikkhil Advani, John Abraham and T-Series once again delivered a success with ‘Batla House’ on this Independence Day, while Milap, T-Series and Nikkhil Advani are now gearing up for another action-packed ‘Marjaavaan.’
