Johnny Lever was born in Andhra Presh and brought up at King's Circle in Mumbai. He dropped out of school after completing seventh gre due to financial problems. To fill his stomach, he did odd jobs like imitating Bollywood stars and dancing to ir songs. He was good at mimicry and was invited to perform at factory he worked. He gained a lot of fame and joined Kalyanji-Anandji group. He was later spotted by Sunil Dutt and offered  movie Dard Ka Rishta. Thus began career of one of best comedy performers in Indian film industry.
