When the host asked to elaborate on 'what pseudo' is, he explained by saying: "I feel it's pseudo because...you know...when you're deeply in love, deeply connected with a woman and vice versa, there's a lot of honesty in it. And if you don't have that physical demonstration of...if you don't have the liberty of slapping each other, then I don't see anything there."

He further goes on to say: "I feel that they were never in love, probably they've never experienced it in the right way."
"If you can't slap, if you can't touch your woman wherever you want, you can't kiss, you can't use cuss words, I don't see any emotion in that. Then it's all margins. There is nothing unconditional about it then. It's all conditions."

Vanga went on to mention another well known critic who rated Kabir Singh with 2 stars and said that the scene where Shahid Kapoor plucks Kiara Advani from the class and wants to show his ownership over her and tells his juniors that 'she is mine' is as similar to the situation where one calls 2000 people for their wedding and tie the knot in front of them. He says, 'It's the same. You are conveying the same thing in your wedding too.'
These comments brought in a lot of backlash from the Netizens. Author Aseem Chhabra called Vanga 'arrogant sexist prick'. Read his tweet below -
