Penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya, song brings out perfect emotion of love and longing. song gives a glimpse about story revolving around Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. Kunal Kemmu also makes an appearance in song. And on or side, itya Roy Kapur's longing for Sonakshi Sinha is quite visible but Roop (Alia's character) is married to itya in film and that too is portrayed beautifully through song. A small glimpse of Sanjay Dutt and Mhuri Dixit also features. conflict of love is expressed through Arijit Singh's soulful voice and Pritam's rhythm.

Previously, makers of 'Kalank' have released two new songs from film including 'Ghar More Pardesiya' and 'First Class'. grandeur of plot has left viewers startled. 

Set in 1940s, in Pre-Independence India, 'Kalank'' is said to be a tale of eternal love. It is helmed by director Abhishek Verman and stars Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, itya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Mhuri Dixit in le. Jointly produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Niwala, and Fox Star Studios, 'Kalank' is all set to hit atres on April 19, 2019.
