According to the reports, the actor's family has planned a three-day celebration for his birthday. Reportedly, the family will host a huge party today at the actor's hometown Paramukudi. Kamal Haasan's daughter, Shruti Haasan, posted a picture earlier in the day, giving her fans a peek into Kamal Haasan's birthday celebrations.

Kamal Haasan will be next seen in S. Shankar's Indian 2. The movie, starring Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead, is the sequel to Haasan's 1996 movie, Indian. The cast and crew of the forthcoming movie are currently shooting for the film in Gwalior.
