When asked about anti-CAA protests at trailer launch of Panga, Kangana responded, “My opionion is such that it will be morning by time I finish. But I’ll try to say something which is t drifting from event. most important thing when one protests is to t resort to violence. Out of our population, only 3-4 per cent pay taxes, and ors are dependent on se taxes. So what gives you right to burn buses, trains and to create ruckus in country. That should be looked into because one bus costs Rs 70-90 lakh, which is t a small amount."
She compared current situation to pre-independence era, "And situation that country is at moment, number of people dying of starvation or malnutrition, so is it reasonable for people to indulge in violence? And this is very personal opinion of mine, we are still hung on to pre-Independence era. At that time, people had captured us, be it by arms or force, so se kind of practices, to go on such protests, stall country, or t pay taxes, used to be cool at that time."

actor added, "w, in a democracy, your leader has t come from Italy or Japan, person is one of you, who grew from strength to strength from small towns. Like me, being Kangana Ranaut, you cant say that ‘one or two films of yours can work,' but if I have survived for 10-15 years, so you have to give it to me that I’m here on my own merit. So y have achieved power on basis of promises y have made in ir manifesto, and y are fulfilling it, isn’t it democracy? You can’t be a sore loser.”
