Rihanna on Tuesday said, "Why aren't we talking about this?! #FarmersProtest" [sic]Though Kangana joined Twitter a few months back, she has 3 million followers. While Rihanna joined platform in 2009 and has over 100.9 million followers.

For over two months, thousands of farmers have been protesting at Delhi borders seeking repeal of three farm laws passed by Parliament. At present, Supreme Court has stayed implementation of farm laws and formed a committee to resolve ongoing impasse.

Meanwhile, security remained tightened at Ghazipur and Tikri borders of national capital in view of ongoing farmers' protest against central farm laws. Delhi Police has cemented nails near barricades at Ghazipur (Delhi-Uttar Pradesh) and Tikri (Delhi-Haryana) borders, according to news ncy ANI. Delhi Police Commissioner SN Shrivastava had visited Ghazipur border on Monday to inspect security arrangements.

Also, police have heavily barricaded Ghazipur border. Barbed wire and cement barricades have been planted on roads to restrict movement of farmers. Meanwhile, workers under watch of police personnel on Monday hooked iron rods between two rows of cement barriers on a flank of main highway at Singhu border to furr restrict movement of protesters agitating against new farm laws at site. Ar portion of highway at Delhi-Haryana border is practically blocked w as a makeshift cement wall has come up re.

Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Tuesday released an official statement on violence witnessed by national capital on Republic Day, revealing that Delhi Police had filed 39 cases against agitators between September 2020 to January 2021. 

Giving a blow-by-blow account of Republic Day violence, MHA stated that as per Delhi Police, large convoys of protesting farmers in tractor trollies tried to furiously go past police barricades, to enter capital, taking law and order in ir hand. It furr revealed how protestors, in turn, used 'criminal force' to deter public servants from performing ir duties, inflicting dam to public property and police personnel.
