Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut was invited to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's garing to mark 150th birth anniversary of Far of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. While occasion was on 2nd of October, celebration to mark day was held today. On Gandhi's birth anniversary, PM launched a big initiative, and that was to fight against single-use of plastic. An array of Bollywood celebrities were invited for garing in likes of Aamir Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Ekta Ravi Kapoor to name a few.

Speaking on occasion, Ranaut hailed esteemed leer for being first one to be 'inclusive' about art, artist and film industry. Claiming that one before gave industry so much respect, actress said, " one has recognized soft power and strength of artists in country before so for that from bottom of my heart, on behalf of entire industry". "I would like to thank our Prime Minister and of course things he has said bout propagating Gandhi philosophy and those are values we are all going to embed in within ourselves and hope that we all get something concrete from that", she concluded.

For uninitiated, Prime Minister Modi hosted members of film fraternity at official residence,7, Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi on Saturday. PM Modi hailed Mahatma Gandhi for his simplicity and shared how his thoughts spre all over world. He said, “Gandhi is synymous with simplicity. His thoughts reverberate far and wide.”.
