Tigmanshu Dhulia went on to compare Kangana to veteran actor Waheeda Rehman. He praised Waheeda Rehman for her acting skills by lauding her as a great actor. However, he thought that variety of roles and intensity of character that Kangana Ranaut brings onscreen is unmatched in Indian cinema. In fact, actor Waheeda Rehman h congratulated Kangana, for her acting and direction, on release of her film, Manikarnika earlier this year.
period drama was based on life and struggles of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi. It was set in mid 19th century India when rebellion for independence from British rule was at its peak. Kangana Ranaut essayed role of Rani Lakshmibai, and film also h actors Atul Kulkarni, Suresh Oberoi, Danny Denzongpa, Jisshu Sengupta and Ankita Lokhande in pivotal roles.

Tigmanshu Dhulia is an actor himself with roles in films like Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster(2011), Gangs of Wasseypur(2012), Zero(2018) among ors. He is also a producer and a screenwriter. What's next for Kangana Ranaut?
On work front, after release of Manikarnika this year, Kangana will feature in Ashwini Iyer Tiwari's Panga. movie is based on story of a National-level kabdi player. which is slated to release on January 24, 2020. She will be essaying role of a Kabbi player alongside Richa Chha, Pankaj Tripathi and Neena Gupta.
She will also be seen in Razneesh Ghai's Dhaak opposite Mimoh Chakravarty. Her much-anticipated film is Jayalalitha biopic Thalaivi directed by Telugu director A.L Vijay. actor is alrey in news for meticulous preparation for this role.
