You are either celebrating or...: Kangana Questions Bollywood's silence in assault case

Kangana has earlier reassured fans on social media that she was fine after being assaulted at the Chandigarh airport by a woman in uniform. On Friday, in her Instagram stories, she wrote, "Dear film industry, you are either celebrating or are totally mum on the airport attack on me remember if tomorrow you are walking disarmingly on the street of your country or anywhere else in the world and some Israeli/Palestinian hits you or your children just because you tried to bring eyes to Rafah or stood up for Israeli hostage then you will see I will be fighting for your rights of free speech if someday you wonder why I am where I am remember you are not me (sic)."

Recapping in detail what had happened, Kangana said she had been getting a lot of calls from the media and her well-wishers. The constable, she said, came towards her from the side. "She hit me in the face and started abusing me. I asked her why she did it and she said she supports the farmer protests." "I am safe but my concern is that terrorism is increasing in Punjab... How do we handle that?" Another video doing the rounds of social media showed the agitated constable talking to people presumably after the incident.
