Kangana Ranaut responded to a controversial advertisement of a jewellery advertisement, that was pulled down amid outrage, and called the execution 'shameful'.

Kangana Ranaut also wed into controversy, and more than religion angle, highlighted execution of as ‘shameful.’

vertisement features a Muslim woman guiding her pregnant daughter-in-law for her ‘godh bharai’ ceremony (in or words, baby shower), a Hindu custom. mor-to-be expresses surprise that her mor-in-law is so excited for ceremony and asks, ‘Such customs don’t even take place at your home.” woman replies, ‘ custom of keeping daughters happy is part of every home,” as voice-over speaks about power of ‘becoming one.’

Kangana tweeted that more than concept, ‘problem’ was in execution. Queen star was t too pleased about portrayal of ‘fearful Hindu girl’. She asked why pregnant woman ‘apologetically expressed her gratitude’ to her in-laws for acceptance of her faith. Asking if she was t ‘woman of house’, Kangana also sought to kw why she was at ‘mercy’ of her in-laws, and ‘meek and timid’ at her own home.
