Ramya Krishnan spoke to a news publication regarding clashing stories in her new web series Queen with Kangana Ranaut starrer film Thalaivi. She expressed that she is aware of comparisons between two. Ramya Krishnan’s Queen, which is inspired by Anita Sivakumaran's book  Queen, is slated to release online on December 14. Ramya stated in interview that earlier release of web series than film Thalaivi will have an advant over film. She also expressed how role is inspired by true-life events of late former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalitha. She said that role is epitome of women thriving in a field dominated by men and she is houred to essay it.

Kangana Ranaut starrer Thalaivi had its teaser along with first look of Kangana as Jayalalithaa unveiled recently. While netizens were still reeling with first glimpse of film, makers of web series, Queen starring South actor Ramya Krishnan in lead role have also revealed its teaser. series also gives a detailed glimpse into life of late actor and former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalithaa. Reportedly, re were several comparisons between  film and series amongst viewers. Both Kangana and Ramya seemed to have got into skin of ir character by first looks of ir respective ventures.
