Former CM Jayalalitha's niece Deepa moves MHC against converting Jayalalithaa's life into a movie and a web series. Director A.L.Vijay is directing a movie based on Jayalalitha's life in Tamil and Hindi under the titles Thalaivi and Jaya and actor Kangana Ranaut has been roped in to do Jayalalitha's role. Director Gautam Menon also is scheduled to direct a web series on Jayalalitha. In a petition moved by Deepa, she has stated that her consent has not been obtained for making the movie on Jayalalitha's and sought a ban on the move. She has also mentioned, that there is a need to know whether the movie would affect the image of Jayalalithaa. The petition to be taken up for hearing soon.
Kangana Ranaut, who is known for her acting skills, is currently busy preparing her role as former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha. When asked about the biopic, the actor said she is feeling honored to be a part of the film. Kangana always wanted to be a part of the regional film. She was waiting for the good script for long, and this film just came her way. When she heard the script, she found her story very similar to Jayalitha's story. She found many similarities between both and hence decided to say yes to the film.

Kangana Ranaut who recently appeared in Judgementall Hai Kya opposite Rajkummar Rao will next be seen in 'Panga' which has been directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. Meanwhile, on the work front, Kangana's latest outing Judgementall Hai Kya has hit theatres on July 26 and was widely appreciated by the audience and the critics.
