Upcoming Bollywood movies under Dharma Productions banner

Dharma Productions was started by Yash Johar, and after his demise, his son Karan Johar took over. Many movies including the iconic Baahubali franchise has been released under the Dharma Productions banner. The production house has many new projects lined up for the years 2019 and 2020. Here are some of the upcoming movies that will be produced by Dharma Productions.

Good Newwz, starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh is all set to hit the theatres on December 27, 2019. The movie deals with the topic ofin vitro fertilization and is directed by Raj Mehta. Bhoot: Part One - The Haunted Ship starring Bhumi Pednekar and Vicky Kaushal is slated to release on February 21, 2020. The horror movie is directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh. Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif is a Rohit Shetty movie, from his Police universe, just like Singham, Singham Returns and Simmba. It will be released on March 27, 2020.

Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, starring Janhvi Kapoor, Angad Bedi, and Pankaj Tripathi, is directed by Sharan Sharma. It is expected to release on March 13, 2020. The movie is based on true events and revolves around the life of India’s first air force women officer to go to war. Brahmastra, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy is the first part of a superhero trilogy. The movie is expected to hit the theatres on May 1, 2020 and is directed by Ayan Mukherjee. Shershaah, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, is expected to release in 2020. The movie is directed by Vishnuvardhan. It is a biopic about Captain Vikram Batra. The highly anticipated Dharma productions film, Dostana 2 is directed by Collin D'Cunha. It stars Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor, Asha Bhat and newbie Lakshya Lalwani in key roles. The release date of the movie has not been revealed yet.
