Kareena Kapoor Khan made her debut with the 2001 film, Refugee. She went on to do a number of films that were received well by the audience. Kareena has created a niche for herself in the industry and is one of the most bankable actors in Bollywood. The actor evolved from various roles and is now one of the highest-grossing actors. Kareena gained the public eye from her film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham where she won hearts for her acting as Poo. Kareena was considered as a sensation for her prolific acting as she further went on giving hit films such as Aitraaz, Mujhse Dosti Karoge, 36 China Town.

In the early days, Kareena played the role of a girl next door as she used to take up romantic films. Kareena further went on discovering films, where she was appreciated for her acting in films such as 3 idiots, Tashan, Kurbaan and We are a family. She then again stole the limelight for her film Jab We Met where she received lots of appreciation for her film and she also received the award as the Best Actor (Female) in a leading role.
Kareena Kapoor Khan had reportedly started the trend of zero figure with her movie Tashan. Since 2011, Kareena started acting in female lead roles or woman-centric films such as Ra: One, Heroine, and Talaash. She also starred in Ki & Ka which broke all the stereotypes of the husband working and the wife staying at home and taking care of the chores. Even in real life, the actor broke stereotypes as she was being told that after getting married and having a child she will not be able to act but the actor gave her fans hit films such as Udta Punjab the film was a hit at the box-office. She last starred in Veere Di Wedding alongside Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Sumeet Vyas, the film fared well at the box office.
