After completing her school, she went to pursue a degree in commerce in Mumbai’s Mithibai College. However, later on, she realised her inclination towards the subject of law and decided to switch her course.

• Turned a playback singer: Very few people are aware of the fact, that Kareena Kapoor gave her voice to the song Jab Nahi Aaye for the film Dev. Kareena played a lead role in the film. Unfortunately, the movie didn't do well at the box-office.
