Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor share a special bond as sisters. The actresses recently appeared on a talk show where they shared candid details about their personal lives and relationships. The anecdote of Karisma Kapoor coming to know about Kareena's relationship with Saif Ali Khan is now doing rounds on social media.

How did Karisma Kapoor react to knowing about Kareena Kapoor-Saif Ali Khan's relationship?

Much before Saif Ali Khan became family, he was the co-star and a good friend of Karisma Kapoor. The actors were seen together in films like Hum Saath Saath Hain, Biwi No 1 and Yeh Dillagi. The actress recalled being in shock when her younger sister Kareena Kapoor confessed to being in love with Saif.

Appearing at The Great Indian Kapil Show, Karisma Kapoor shared, “Kareena actually asked me to sit down somewhere before she could say what she wanted to say. I didn’t understand the need, but I did find a sofa in the London store where I was shopping. She went like, ‘The thing is that, I’m in love with Saif. We are together. We are dating,’ and I wanted to hold on more tightly to the sofa." She then recalled, “It took me a second to process all of this. Saif was my buddy, and my co-star, right?”

In the same show, the host Kapil enquired about Saif Ali Khan's tattoo that reads Kareena's name. The Jab We Met remarked, “Maine hi bola tha tattoo karaane ko. If you love me, you will write my name”. The tattoo on his forearm of Kareena's created grabbed headlines back then. Earlier, according to an interview with a news channel back in 2009, Saif revealed that his decision was spontaneous and inspired by David Beckham.

After dating for 5 years, Kareena and Saif finally decided to tie the knot in 2012.  The wedding took place in an intimate setting away from the public eye. The couple are blessed with sons, Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh.
