Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan who has a number of films in the pipeline for release also started prepping for his next venture 'Dostana 2' on Monday, September 30. The actor made the announcement of the same in a recent Instagram post where he shared a picture of him holding onto the script of the film. In the post, he wrote, "#Dostana2 ka Prep Shuru " and revealed that the picture is ed by his director Collin DCunha.

Meanwhile, Collin DCunha who is making his directorial debut with the project also shared the picture in his Instagram story and wrote, "Maa da laadla in da house."

Dostana 2
Filmmaker Karan Johar's upcoming production 'Dostana 2' is the much-awaited sequel to his 2008 blockbuster 'Dostana' starring Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, and John Abraham. Besides Kartik Aaryan, 'Dostana 2' also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Bollywood debutant Lakshya in the lead.
The first film of the franchise-'Dostana' was directed by Tarun Mansukhani and the story followed two men who pretend to be gay to share an apartment with a girl with whom they eventually fall in love with.
What's next for Kartik Aaryan
On the professional front, Kartik Aaryan has a number of films in the pipeline for release. He recently wrapped up the shooting for Imtiaz Ali's 'Aaj Kal' where he will be sharing screen space with his rumoured girlfriend Sara Ali Khan. Kartik Aaryan will also be starring in 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Pandey. While the later is going to release on December 6, this year, 'Aaj Kal' is scheduled for Valentine's Day release in 2020.
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan is also roped for 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' which is a sequel of 2007 horror-comedy film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, and Shiney Ahuja in the lead. The film, helmed by filmmaker Anees Bazmee, will also star Kiara Advani in the lead. It is backed by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and is scheduled to hit the theatres on 31 July 2020.
