Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan who currently has a handful of films in his kitty has started preparation for his next- 'Dostana 2' which also stars Janhvi Kapoor

Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan who has a number of films in pipeline for release also started prepping for his next venture 'Dostana 2' on Monday, September 30. actor made anuncement of same in a recent Instagram post where he shared a picture of him holding onto script of film. In post, he wrote, "#Dostana2 ka Prep Shuru " and revealed that picture is clicked by his director Collin DCunha.

Meanwhile, Collin DCunha who is making his directorial debut with project also shared picture in his Instagram story and wrote, "Maa da laadla in da house."

Filmmaker Karan Johar's upcoming production 'Dostana 2' is much-awaited sequel to his 2008 blockbuster 'Dostana' starring Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, and John Abraham. Besides Kartik Aaryan, 'Dostana 2' also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Bollywood debutant Lakshya in lead.

first film of franchise-'Dostana' was directed by Tarun Mansukhani and story followed two men who pretend to be gay to share an apartment with a girl with whom y eventually fall in love with.
What's next for Kartik Aaryan
On professional front, Kartik Aaryan has a number of films in pipeline for release. He recently wrapped up shooting for Imtiaz Ali's 'Aaj Kal' where he will be sharing screen with his rumoured girlfriend Sara Ali Khan. Kartik Aaryan will also be starring in 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' alongside Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Pandey. While later is going to release on December 6, this year, 'Aaj Kal' is scheduled for Valentine's Day release in 2020.

Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan is also roped for 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' which is a sequel of 2007 horror-comedy film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, and Shiney Ahuja in lead. film, helmed by filmmaker Anees Bazmee, will also star Kiara Advani in lead. It is backed by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and is scheduled to hit atres on 31 July 2020.
