Katrina Kaif recently started her own cosmetic brand named Kay by Katrina. However, the initial ad campaign for Katrina's new brand received backlash for allegedly being copied from Kim Kardashian's beauty campaign. In light of the recent plagiarism accusations levied against Katrina, here are a few other occasions where Bollywood celebs and creators were accused of the same.

A few days ago, on October 16, 2019, Katrina Kaif took to social media to announce the launch of her new cosmetic brand, Kay by Katrina. However, soon after Katrina posted this ad on her social media page, another verified social media page known as Diet Sabya noticed some similarities between Katrina's campaign and a previous beauty campaign that was conducted by Kim Kardashian. Diet Sabya's page posted a side-by-side comparison of the two ads.

The Bhram poster coying alligations

Bhram was a Zee TV original show that featured Kalki Koechlin in the lead role. The thriller's poster was shared online in September and was quickly accused of artistic plagiarism after it was released. The art on the poster closely matched the art for the poster of the movie The Nightingale.

Sahoo

Sahoo was an action thriller that was released on August 30, 2019. The movie was a success at the box office, however, it was plagued with allegations of plagiarism. The first controversy was that its poster art was accused of being copied.

But that was the not the only plagiarism accusation levied against the movie's creative team. After the film's release, French filmmaker Jérôme Salle accused the story of Sahoo of being copied from his own 2008 film Largo Winch. He claimed that both Sahoo and the Telugu version of the movie, Agnyathavaasi, were both unauthorised copies of his work.

Speaking of which, Kaif will next be seen in the 2020 film Sooryavanshi. The movie will star herself and Akshay Kumar in the lead roles and is directed by Rohit Shetty.
