Sequels can be connected to the first film, with the same cast and characters or it can completely vary with new cast and characters. One of the recent sequels to Namastey London was Namaste England. Here are the characters of Parineeti Chopra and Katrina Kaif in the film.

Katrina Kaif in Namastey London

Katrina Kaif played the role of Jasmeet Malhotra Singh (Jazz) who is born in an Indian conservative family and lives in London. Jazz is a beautiful young woman, modern in looks, habits, and heart. The family goes to India to find Jazz an Indian boy to get married as her father thinks he would never be able to find a perfect Indian son-in-law for himself. He takes them on a tour to India and forces Jasmeet to marry Arjun Singh (Akshay Kumar) who does not know to speak English. On their return to London, Jasmeet announces that she is getting married to Charlie Brown (Clive Standen), who is well educated and has good friends and connections, even with Prince Charles. She refuses to recognise her marriage with Arjun as there is no proof of the wedding. Then later, Jazz gets close to Arjun who still supports her and she realises her love for Arjun and India.

Parineeti Chopra in Namaste England

Parineeti Chopra in the film is an ambitious girl who has big dreams to fulfil. Despite being married to Arjun Kapoor, she goes on to marry an NRI from England to get a residence visa so that she can start her jewellery business. She manages to go to England and Arjun follows her to England to make her understand that everything is not about money and living abroad, there is a family beyond that. She eventually realises her fault and they come back to India where his family agrees to her starting a business and then the two lead a happy life.
