Katrina Kaif on Ranbir: "I prioritised the relationship"

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were in a relationship for a significant amount of time, reportedly. The duo met on the sets of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani in 2009 and as per reports, dated till 2016. Since then, Katrina’s love life has always been a huge mystery for her fans. The pair was seen together in movies like Raajneeti and Jagga Jasoos.

Katrina on her relationship with Ranbir

In a recent interview with host and actor Neha Dhupia, Kaif talked about her experience and her relationship with the Sanju actor. She called her time with Ranbir a phase in her life. She claimed that she let go for a while as she was really consumed by the relationship. It became the focus of her life. Katrina added that she was happy during that part of her life. She does not regret the fact that she prioritized the relationship. Kaif then said that in retrospect, she let a lot of important things slide away because of this.

Katrina has talked about her relationship with Ranbir before this interview as well. In an interview with a Bollywood magazine, the Bharat actor said that she was forced to analyse a lot about her life and how she was living it. She ended this thought by saying that everything happens for a reason. She also claimed that she was sad during the shooting of Baar Baar Dekho in 2016.

The actor is currently working on Rohit Shetty’s 2020 film Sooryavanshi alongside Akshay Kumar. She is also shooting for Bang Bang Reloaded with Shahid Kapoor, which is reportedly scheduled to release in December 2020. Her recent movie Bharat was a blockbuster hit, reaching ₹325 crore worldwide. The movie also starred Salman Khan, Sunil Grover and Disha Patani.
