Kiara Advani shares a heartfelt note as 'Kabir Singh' completes 1 month; Shahid Kapoor terms it 'award-winning speech'

Following the sprawling success of 'Kabir Singh' in the box office, its actor Kiara Advani took to Instagram to share a heartfelt note on the eve of the movie completing 30 days in theatre.

Following sprawling success of 'Kabir Singh' in box office, its actor Kiara vani took to Instagram to share a heartfelt te on eve of movie completing 30 days in atre. 

'Good News' actor penned a long te thanking her co-star and director of movie, Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Recounting her experience she wrote "Every time I have tried to put down my feelings on Kabir Singh, I don't kw where to begin. This attempt will t do justice eir, to how truly grateful I am, to my team, and audience for making our film what it has become today," 

"A year ago I stepped into shoes of Preeti, shy, demure, and basically complete opposite of me. But I also saw her strength, conviction, her love and her passion and couldn't help but feel for love story that you all rooted for with me," she ded.

Kiara vani took opportunity to also express her gratitude towards her co-star, Shahid Kapoor, calling him her "confidant and friend through this journey" and said that she was extremely lucky to work with him. "Alrey missing your craziness mama, couldn't have been luckier to work toger on this special film," she wrote.

She also praised her director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for evoking inspiration in her for playing a flawed, imperfect character which became so relatable to audience.

Kiara also lauded producers, cinematographer, composer and singers for ir contribution. "To entire cast and crew, every technician, our EP. This film would t be same without your efforts and hard work!" she wrote.

"But most importantly, beyond thankful to audience for loving, accepting and rooting for this love story," she ded.

Her co-star Shahid Kapoor  also praised her post and said, "This award-winning speech also deserves an award."

'Kabir Singh' is  Hindi remake of Sandeep's Telugu blockbuster 'Arjun Reddy'. It is highest-grossing Bollywood film of year so far and has collected Rs 267 crore at domestic box office. 'Kabir Singh' tells story of a short-tempered surgeon Kabir Singh who goes on a path of self-destruction, consuming drugs and alcohol after he cant marry love of his life Preeti.
