Panipat actor Kriti San is all set to embrace morhood for first time ever in her upcoming film titled Mimi. drama-film is official Hindi remake of National-Award winning Marathi film, Mala Aai Vhhaychy! which released in 2011. She will play titular role of a surrogate mor in this Laxman Utekar directorial alongside Pankaj Tripathi and Sai Tamhankar.
Housefull 4 actor revealed that she h to gain 15 kilos of weight for portraying her character effectively in an interview with a leing entertainment daily. During her interview, she also spilled beans about reason why she agreed to play role of a surrogate mor.

Kriti spoke about reason why she took up role of a surrogate mor in 'Mimi'
In an interaction with an entertainment daily, Kriti San spoke about playing a mor in Mimi. San revealed that apart from playing a mor, she also plays role of a young girl in film who aspires to become a Bollywood actor as Mimi has dreams of her own too.
She furr ded re is a reason why she agreed to become a surrogate because it is one of most beautiful scripts she came across and also revealed that she agreed upon signing film in first narration itself.

Later, during same interview, Kriti San also spilled beans about discovering feelings as an actor that she h never experienced in life. actorr stated that she h her own take on emotions required to bring out dilemma of her character, but discussion with director, Laxman Utekar really helped her a lot. Mimi is slated to hit silver screens in July this year.

On or hand, apart from Mimi, Kriti San will be reuniting with her Bareilly Ki Barfi co-star Rajkummar Rao in a Dinesh Vijan film which also stars Dimple Kapia and Paresh Rawal in prominent roles. She would have been shooting for film in Delhi if it wouldn't have been for COVID-19 lockdown. However, shoot of untitled film will resume after government of India lifts nationwide lockdown.
