Saif Ali Khan's much-anticipated film, Laal Kaptaan, has so far impressed the audience with its promising poster and a hair-raising teaser. And now, the makers of the film have unveiled a new poster with the updated release date. Earlier it was October 11, but now the release date announced with the film's teaser has been changed to October 18. Laal Kaptaan is directed by Navdeep Singh and is produced by Aanand L. Rai under his banner Colour Yellow Productions and Eros International.

Producer Aanand L Rai took to his social media handles and shared a new film poster with a new release date. The film is set to hit the big screens on October 18th. That means this film will be releasing post Dussera. The poster cosists of Saif Ali Khan’s intense battle look with a sword in his hand. Saif Ali Khan’s look, as a Naga Sadhu with ash and blood on his forehead, is one that viewers have never seen before. The netizens started comparing Saif Ali Khan's Naga Sadhu look to Johnny Depp’s Jack Sparrow from the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise.

About his look in the film

On September 23, the teaser of Laal Kapaatan was released and Saif Ali Khan’s look created a buzz on the internet. He looked unrecognizable in the teaser. Talking about his character in the film, he mentioned to PTI, "My part in Laal Kaptaan is that of a person who is an animal at heart; a flat-footed wild fellow."

On the work front, Saif Ali Khan was last seen in the second season of Netflix’s Sacred Games, which also starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pankaj Tripathi. He will be starring in Taanaji: The Unsung Hero alongside Ajay Devgn and Dil Bechara co-starring Sushant Singh Rajput. Meanwhile, for his upcoming movie Jawaani Jaaneman, Saif is currently shooting in the UK. The film marks Pooja Bedi’s daughter Alaia Furniturewala’s Bollywood debut.
