Saif Ali Khan's next, Laal Kaptaan, is a revenge drama film about two brothers at war. The film, directed by Navdeep Singh also features actors Zoya Hussain, Manav Vij and Saurabh Sachdeva. Saurabh is a well-known acting coach in the industry. He was last seen in Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyaan where he played the role of a matchmaker named Kakaji. Reportedly, he will feature in Saif Ali Khan starrer Laal Kaptaan and will be seen playing a pivotal role.
In an interview, Saurabh said that he will play the role of an army general of a royal family that brings everyone together for war. He will play an important role in the childhood of Saif's character. He continued to reveal that he had to read about the wars as part of his preparation. He further mentioned that as far as the character is concerned, he is a 'high-status player' in real life. He explained that the term means someone who may or may not have money but who has high confidence. He also mentioned saying that they shot the film in the scorching heat of Rajasthan and he has only worked in studios so far.
Saurabh talks about his co-star
He says that Saif is doing good things. He has served as an actor by signing powerful projects and playing mature roles. He further mentioned that an actor is defined by the choices he makes and Saif has been making some courageous decisions. People will be surprised to see his appearance in Laal Kaptaan. The film Laal Kaptaan is all set to release on October 18, 2019. The film is directed by Navdeep Singh and produced by Aanand L. Rai and Sunil Lulla.
On the work front, Saurabh will be seen next in Farhad Samji’s Housefull 4 which is releasing on October 25, 2019, and Jaspal Singh Sandhu’s Gwalior which will release in 2020.
