Laal Singh Chaddha: Trade analysts react to the first look of the Aamir Khan film

Laal Singh Chaddha is the official Bollywood remake of the 1994 Hollywood film Forest Gump. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film is set to hit the screens on Christmas 2020. Aamir Khan recently took to his social media to share the official first look of the film and the fans are going crazy over it. Anil Sharma, a film director, writer, and producer took to his social media to congratulate Aamir Khan.

Taran Adarsh, a well-known trade analyst, and movie critic also shared the first look of the film's poster on his social media.

The film stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, and Vijay Sethupathi. The film’s plot revolves around the story of a man who has a low IQ. In the poster, Khan can be seen donning the look of a Sardarji sporting a long beard. The star is seen wearing a pink and blue checkered shirt with grey trousers and a matching Pagdi. 

Laal Singh Chaddha is an adaptation of Forrest Gump which was released in 1994 and starred Tom Hanks with Robin Wright. The movie won multiple Oscars. Aamir Khan will co-produce the Hindi adaptation along with Viacom18 Motion Pictures. Aamir has reportedly lost 20 kilos to play the younger version of his title role of Laal Singh Chaddha. Directed by Advait Chandan of Secret Superstar fame, and written by Atul Kulkarni, the film will release on Christmas 2020.
