Legal trouble for makers of movie 'Sadak 2'; hearing on September 8

A complaint has been filed in a Maharajganj court against filmmakers Mahesh Bhatt, Mukesh Bhatt, and actor Alia Bhatt for allegedly hurting sentiments of Hindu community through a poster of ir movie Sak 2. complaint has been filed by vocate Vinay Pandey over placement of an im of Kailash Mansarovar in film's poster.  

complaint has been lodged under IPC Sections 295A (deliberately outraging religious feelings) and 120B (criminal conspiracy). Judicial Magistrate Saurabh Pandey has fixed September 8 as date of hearing in case. In his complaint, Pandey said in film poster, Mount Kailash has been shown below names of movie, director, producer and actor.  

This is disgusting as ir names and film's name have got more importance than pious mountain, vocate said in complaint, claiming that it hurt  feelings of Hindu community.

poster for Sak 2 was released during a press conference recently. Alia h re out a te written by Mahesh which stated reason for including Mount Kailash in poster. te re that Mount Kailash is an less mountain that has footprints of Gods and ss. mountain is an abode for Lord Shiva, who is God of gods, thus poster did t require any or actor in poster, according to him.

much-anticipated film directed by veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt will be heing for a digital release.  Produced by Vishesh Films and Fox Star Studios, movie featuring Alia Bhatt, itya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt, and Pooja Bhatt, was originally scheduled to be released in cinemas on July 10.

Sak 2 is a sequel to 1991 film starring Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt.
