Rang de Basanti

Rang De Basanti is one of the few films that delivered the ideologies of freedom fighters to the youth in the most engaging way. It received critical acclaim for its story-telling and brilliant performances by actors like Aamir Khan, Atul Kulkarni, Waheeda Rehman, and Siddharth Narayan. It received the National Film Award for Best Popular Film. The soundtrack of the film was a major success and was composed by A.R Rahman. It was co-written by Kamlesh Pandey and Rensil D'Silva.

Delhi-6

Delhi-6 is one of the few films that beautifully captures the essence of old Delhi. The busy streets of Chandni Chowk and the lifestyle of the people is portrayed with a very mature approach. It won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration. The movie also raised several issues like cast discrimination in modern society. It was produced by Ronnie Screwvala.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is based on the life of National champion and Olympian Milkha Singh who represented India internationally. The sports biographical drama was one of the highest grosser films in the year 2013.  It was written by Prasoon Joshi and features Farhan Akhtar in the leading role. It won the National award for Best Popular Film for Providing Wholesome Entertainment. The film also focuses on the era of partition.

Mere Pyare Prime Minister

Mere Pyare Prime Minister is a 2018 film based on social issues. It was received very well by the audience and critics. It focuses on the struggle of a boy who urges to write a letter to the Prime Minister of the country after his world gets shaken. It was screened at the Rome Film Festival.
