Made In China plot
Rajkummar Rao recently posted a video via Google answering one of the most asked questions - about the story of the film. He said Made In China is a very endearing journey of a middle-class Gujarati businessman Raghu Mehta, who is trying to make it big. He has tried and failed with many ideas from selling a different type of egg, roti makers, embay types of agencies and even and to selling square-shaped watermelons, but nothing has worked in his favour. The story revolves around how he lands up in China where he gets a secret recipe of a magic soup. Raghu makes the recipe in Ahmedabad and tries to sell that. Rajkummar added that there is a lot of chaos and humour in the film. He believes that it is going to be a lot of fun and it is going to be a great source of entertainment for the audiences. He said that they had a lot of fun making it and so he is pretty sure that the viewers will also have a lot of fun watching it.

After receiving mixed reviews from the audiences and critics, the movie was suffering due to the clash. While Saandh Ki Aankh received mostly positives reviews, Housefull 4 grabbed most of the audiences due to its star cast and franchise name. Made In China struggled in its first week and could not hold up to a decent total. Seeing the current trend, many believe that the movie may have the final verdict as flop or average. As per reports, the movie has collected around ₹11.05 crore in its first week.
