Maharashtra Police uses a line from Ayushmann Khurrana's song 'Don't Be Shy' from his latest blockbuster film 'Bala' to convey the message of 'report harassment'. They captioned it by saying, "If an eccentric person does something, dial 100". Yami Gautam who also featured on the picture retweeted Maha Police's message that said, 'Report unsafe touch'.
The story of Bala revolves around the hilarious troubles of Ayushmann’s character over his baldness, marriage with Yami Gautam and on-off equation with Bhumi Pednekar. Bala has been directed by Amar Kaushik. The movie is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. The film credits three names for writing - Pavel Bhattacharjee for the original idea, Niren Bhatt for story, screenplay and dialogues and, Ravi Muppa for additional screenplay.
Talking about the film, Ayushmann said his role in "Bala" was the most challenging character he has done. "Took two-and-a-half hours to get ready with prosthetics and shot in the north in the peak of summers. And secondly, you need a lot of empathy to portray a complex character," Ayushmann said. The film released on November 7 and it has already crossed Rs. 90 crores at the box-office.
On the professional front
Ayushmann Khurrana also featured in a campaign video where he was seen delivering a monologue that revolves around 'what makes a true gentleman?'. Ayushmann will be next seen in Gulabo Sitabo that brings him back with his first director Shoojit Sircar again. They had worked together first in Vicky Donor, which had catapulted Ayushmann into stardom. The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan.
