Mahesh Anand, known for negative roles in Amitabh Bachchan, Govinda starrers, found dead under mysterious circumstances

Mahesh Anand, who essayed negative role in a number of Bollywood movies, was on Saturday found de at his residence in Mumbai under mysterious circumstances.

Police did not rule out suicide even though no suicide note has been recovered.  

body of 57-year-old actor, who was last seen in Govinda’s ‘Rangeela Raja’ released last month, was found in a decomposed state from his residence in Andheri’s Yari Ro, police said. 

body was sent to nearby Cooper Hospital for post-mortem. 

Anand suspectedly h drinking problems and was living alone as his wife lives in Moscow, police said. 

While reason behind actor’s death is unclear, doctors from hospital said body was brought from his residence in a decomposed condition.  

According to doctors, reason behind his death can be ascertained only after post-mortem.

actor h performed in several hit films including ‘Shahenshah’, ‘Coolie No 1’, ‘Swarg’, ‘Kurukshetra’ and ‘Vijeta’ and shared screen space with top stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, Govinda and Sanjay Dutt. 

Ranvir Shorey was among actors who mourned Mahesh Anand's death. He wrote, "Sdened to hear of Mahesh Anand’s demise. man was a victim of roller coaster ride that is Bollywood. RIP."

He ded, "I used to bump into him in park close to my place. Quite s to hear he's no more."
