Bollywood actor, Malaika Arora is one of fittest actors in industry. She often posts pictures of complex yoga postures on Instagram. Recently, Malaika posted a picture of herself doing Halaasan and also added instructions and benefits of posture in caption.

On Malaika Arora's Instagram, actor posted a picture of yoga posture called Halaasan. She could be seen dressed in a royal blue workout outfit with her hair tied in a braid.

Adding a caption to post, Malaika wrote, "Hey everyone.
I kw you’ve been wondering where I had disappeared but I think we all needed some time to ourselves. Locked down at home has made us closer to ourselves, physically and mentally. But I think a lot of us have embraced it and adjusted our lives around this ‘new rmal’ and a lot of you have been asking me what I’m doing at home, how I’m staying regular at my workouts.".

How to do Halaasan?
- Lie on your back with your palms facing ground
- Take a deep breath in and with that exhale, press your palms into floor and raise your legs towards ceiling
- For added support, you can place your hands on your lower back
- You can also bend your knees if you’re losing balance
- Slowly & gradually, try touching your feet to ground behind
- Brea slowly. To come out of post, slowly release your hands from your back and bring your feet flat on ground
re are also a number of yoga postures which can be performed before Halaasan to prepare body for this complex posture. se include Poorva Halasana or preliminary plough pose, Sarvangasana and Setu Bandhasana. Similarly, re are some yoga postures which can be done post-Halaasan for added benefits like Bhujangasana and Pavanamuktasana.
