Malang: Anil Kapoor turns 'dark knight' for the 'best crew'

Bollywood's evergreen star Anil Kapoor wrapped up shooting for his upcoming film Malang on Tuesday, October 1. In a recent social media post, he made the announcement of the same and gave fans a sneak peek to the wrap-up bash. Anil Kapoor who celebrated the wrap with dark chocolate cake on a 'dark night' with the crew of the film, called himself the 'dark knight' of Malang. The 'Nayak' actor shared pictures from the sets which show the crew enjoying the cake together. He also hailed the team as the best and said that it was a 'perfect way to end this intense journey'.

Bollywood actress Disha Patani who is also a part of the project also shared an emotional post following Malang wrap. She posed with her team on Instagram where she can be also seen slicing a themed cake.

Malang

Malang is reportedly a revenge drama, which is said to have a blend of romance, action, and thrill. The film is helmed by Aashiqui 2 director Mohit Suri and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Luv Ranjan, Ankur Garg, and Jay Shewakramani. This film marks the reunion of Mohit, Aditya, and Bhushan after the success of Aashiqui 2 in 2013. Besides Anil Kapoor, Malang also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani and Kunal Kemmu, in the lead. This is the first time the four stars will be seen sharing screen space.

Reportedly, Malang will be shot in various exotic locations including Mauritius and Goa from March onwards. It is set to hit theatres on February 14, 2020.

Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor who has completed more than four decades in the Indian film industry has a number of films in the pipeline for release. Besides Malang, he will also be starring in PagalpantiSaade Saati, Takht and more.
