'Manikarnika' will burn in the heart of India forever: Sadhguru lauds Kangana Ranaut’s ambitious venture
One of the first reviews of Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ is out, and makers have all reasons to be optimistic about the movie’s response from audiences and at the box office. Yogi and spiritual guru Sadhguru raved about the period drama, stating that the story of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi will ‘burn in the heart of India forever.’

One of the first reviews of Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ is out, and makers have all reasons to be optimistic about the movie’s response from audiences and at the box office. Yogi and spiritual guru Sadhguru raved about the period drama stating that the story of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi will ‘burn in the heart of India forever.’

Sadhguru was recently invited by the team to watch the film at a screening in Mumbai. He was extremely impressed and sharing a snap with the lead actress-director Kangana and lyricist and dialogue writer of the movie, Prasoon Joshi, took to Twitter to laud the movie.
The Yogi tweeted that the movie is a fitting tribute to Rani of Jhansi and her sacrifice for the country, “Manikarnika’ epitomizes valour, commitment & passion of an Indian woman who left a mark on the nation's history & its struggle for freedom.”

Calling it a ‘wonderful work of Indian cinema,’ Sadhguru continued that the film ‘instills immense pride’ and congratulated the team. He concluded with the vociferous words, “Manikarnika will burn in the heart of India forever.”

Moreover, when Shankar Mahadevan, one of the composer-trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy who have composed the music of the movie, conveyed his gratitude to Sadhguru for spending time with the team and blessing them, the latter praised their composition in Shankar's voice, 'Bharat', from the movie. Replying with the lyrics of the track, penned by Prasoon, 'Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon, Bharat Ye Rehna Chahiye' (Whether I am there or not is insignificant, India should remain) stated that track 'shall bleed every Indian heart.'

'Manikarnika' jointly directed by Kangana and Radha Krishna Jagalramudi aka Krish, is backed by Zee Studios, Kamal Jain and Nishant Pitti. The movie, also starring Ankita Lokhande, Nihar Pandya, Atul Kulkarni, Jisshu Sengupta, Danny Denzongpa, among others hits the theatres on January 25.
