While speaking to portal, Manushi Chhillar expressed her gratitude to Government of India as y have listed sanitary ps as an essential commodity during COVID-19 crisis. She also ded that government should focus on women who belong to ecomically handicapped strata who need ps free of cost. Manushi furr urged state governments to look into distributing of sanitary ps along with daily ration to underprivileged.

Manushi also backs a n-profit programme but name Project Shakti. It is a program that joins hands with local women all over India to empower m and help m make a living by educating m on how to make biodegrable sanitary ps. She also works on raising awareness of menstrual hygiene among women in ir local communities. Her organization is also ensuring that ps are distributed free of cost.
