Meet Govinda's Family Who Stood As Rock By His Side After Gun Accident

Govinda famously known as Chichi, is youngest among 6 siblings. His family affairs are usually kept private, however, his elder sibling Padma Sharma has made to headlines due to feud rumors. Recently, after Govinda was involved in an accident, concerned family members, including his wife, brother, and nieces, have been visiting him at the hospital.

Sunita Ahuja, Tina Ahuja, Yashvardan Ahuja: The wife son and daughter

Govinda and Sunita tied the knot on March 11, 1987, but kept their marriage hidden for four years. They first met at her sister’s wedding when Sunita was 15 and Govinda was 21. 

The couple has two children named Tina Ahuja who was born in July 1989, and Yashvardhan Ahuja, born in March 1997.

Kirti Kumar: Brother

Govinda 's older brother, Kirti Kumar, was an actor, producer, director, and singer. 

He directed several classic films featuring Govinda , with popular works including Do Ankhen Barah Hath, Radha Ka Sangam, Ssukh, Aunty No 1 and Naseeb.

Kamini Khanna: Sister

His younger sister, Kaamini Khanna is a former writer, music director, and singer. She was married to producer Praveen Khanna but after a few years, both have parted ways. 

She is the mother of popular actress Ragini Khanna and TV actor Amit Khanna. Kaamini is now a fitness and health guru.

Pushpa Ahuja Anand: Sister

Govinda 's eldest sister, Pushpa Ahuja Anand, was the most private member of the family, staying away from the spotlight. She passed away in 2011 at the age of 68 and was the mother of popular actor Vinay Anand.

Padma Sharma: Sister

Govinda 's sister Padma passed away in 1984. She was the mother of well-known comedian Krushna Abhishek and actress Aarti Singh. Sadly, she was diagnosed with cancer while pregnant with Aarti. After her death, their father remarried, and Govinda took on the financial responsibility for both children.
