Mika Singh lands in controversy for performing in a concert in US called ‘Hamara Pakistan’

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has threatened the singer from holding a mic in Maharashtra after reports of Mika Singh performing in a US concert came out.

Bollywood singer Mika Singh is famous for landing in unexpected controversies. The latest buzz is that the singer has landed in another controversy regarding his concert scheduled in the United States Of America which is named ‘Hamara Pakistan’. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Ameya Khopkar on Friday has given a threat to Mika over the controversy surrounding the singer’s concert. He said that he will not permit Mika Singh to hold a mic and sing in Maharashtra after reports came out that the 'Jumme Ki Raat' singer will be performing in a concert in America called ‘Hamara Pakistan.’ He was deeply upset by this move of the singer. 

Khopkar took out his frustration on Mika by taking to Twitter and threw an ‘open challenge to him (Mika), The tweet read: ''AMikaSingh @mnsadhikrut Mika Singh is doing 'Hamara Pakistan' Concert in USA!! Open Challenge to him, Try holding ‘MIC’ in Maharashtra Now.’' While Khopkrar attacked Mika, the latter has remained silent on this issue so far and hasn’t reacted on this matter yet. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena and the Shiv Sena had also earlier banned Pakistani actors from acting in Bollywood movies after the Uri attacks that happened in September 2016.

There were reports doing the rounds around the release of Shah Rukh Khan starrer movie ‘Raees’ that the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena will take actions against the makers of the film because of Pakistani actress Mahira Khan was the leading lady in the movie. But luckily, the makers and the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena settled the issue and as a result of the agreement, Mahira Khan was not included in the promotions of the film.

Similarly, in 2016, Karan Johar’s movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ also landed in trouble when the party had threatened the filmmaker for casting popular Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. The party members kept on threatening the makers of the film that they will not allow the release of the movie under any circumstances. The issue was finally resolved when Karan Johar met Shiv Sena leader, Raj Thackeray in order to settle the issue.
